CDN. AM. CH.  Bagabones Pacey T Whitter was born on August 21st, 2005.  He became a Champion as a puppy and won a Best Puppy In Show.  The one thing Pacey lives and breathes for are his walks.  Everyday he waits for Dad to come home from work, have his supper and his Tea.  At that very moment he is ready to go ( eventhough he had been ready since he woke up).  Another thing Pacey is known for is when he gets excited that someone is home or gets out of bed, he has to have a toy in his mouth and will basically wiggle out of his fur he is so happy.  Pacey is always the first to discipline his younger brother and sister when they are misbehaving by giving them a little lickin.  But all in all Pacey is just a big love.  He has got so much love to give that you can't help but want to squeeze him to pieces.

CDN. AM. CH. Bagabones Andy B McPhee was also championed as a puppy and received a Best Puppy In Show.  She has the sweetest eyes and can suck you into anything. She loves to sit up at the table and beg, but she does it ever so politely.  If you choose to ignore her she sometimes will tap you with her paw as if to remind you that she is still there.  Andy's favorite thing in the whole world is to play ball.  With her orange ball to be exact.  She will play for hours if you have the time.  Usually Pacey will steal it, so she just waits patiently for him to lose interest (which takes about two seconds), then she snatches it back up.  Andy also helped raise her younger brother and sister, expecially when her mother Honey, went to foster a litter of Bulldog puppies.  They were at a very important learning stage, so she taught them a thing or two.

Bagabones Sky's The Limit was born on July 14th, 2006.  She is very big for a female with an amazing amount of skin, big chest and huge tight feet.  Her parents are CH. Bagabones Honeymoon and CDN. AM. CH. Vahhala's Star Chaser.  Her father Chase is also a Best In Show winner.  Sky is a very loving girl. She and Pacey produced six beautiful puppies in early 2009. She was then retired and placed with the Magorel Family, who adore her.

We definitly can't leave out the cat.  Zippy is one amazing cat.  The things she puts up with from our Bassets is unheard of.  I don't think there are too many cats out there that would tolerate being slobbered on, chased, squished, and chewed on. But she puts up with it all.  She can not go through the kitchen with at least one of them hunting her down, wanting to play with her.  You would think that the dogs had never seen her in their lives and just discovered her.  Zippy is a very important part of the family as she keeps the house mouse free.  She might catch one or two a year but we never see another.  We rescued Zippy from a Cat Shelter when she was about a year old after she had a litter of kittens.  Over the years she has really grown to trust us and has started to become very affectionate.
